Arrival in Sofia
Your Tour Guide will meet and greet you at the airport and organise your transfer to the hotel.
Check in time is at 14.00.
If your flight is early morning, you can leave your luggage at the hotel and go around to explore the capital of Bulgaria.
Drinks and Dinner are depending on your arrival time.

Special guided tour in the Old city, from which you will learn about old Bulgarian traditions, stories and interesting facts from the history. You will leave with the feeling that you must come back to Plovdiv again.After lunch, on a short drive we will take you to Starosel where you will sleep over. Starosel is a small and humble village, but we selected a very special place for you to stay, where you will enjoy, fabulous food, taste 5 different selection of famous wines, made there due to extensive vineyards. History of wine will be represented to you in a visual tour in Starosel’s authentic winery. You will feel the traditional style of Bulgarian hospitality. You will have a few hours to yourself to go around for walk, enjoy the swimming pool with mineral water/ spa area or have a rest under a heavy shadow somewhere in the garden before dinner, surrounded by pheasants, peacocks, ducks ect.
Heading for Ethnografic complex Damascena.
Bulgaria is famous with the aromatic Rose Oil and in the stunning facilities of this beautiful complex you will discover more about it, taste Rose wine, Rose rakia (local strong beverage), Rose honey. Ethnographic complex Damascena has its own Rosa Damascena plantations in extensive fields and gardens. You will have special guide who will take you through a magical process of rose oil production. Also you will get in touch with one of the most famous historical personalities. Lunch is included after the tour – We made for you special menus, where you can taste local dishes and feel roses not just like smell, but in your food as well.
In the afternoon after a very short drive we must take you to see one of the many Thracian tombs in Bulgaria which are famous all over the world. This visit will leave you fascinated about the ancient ancestors of Bulgarians, their advanced gold ornaments making skills, their occult rituals, wall paintings and much much more …17.00-18.00 – you will arrive in Mineralni Bani/ Haskovo where you will have the evening free. The hotel have mineral water swimming pool/ spa – this water is considered to be one of the most healing in Europe. We are sure you will have a pleasurable stay there.
Breakfast and a few hours to yourself will leave you rested and ready to go and see the biggest statue on earth of the Virgin Mary in Haskovo.
Lunch and early afternoon will be extremely exciting as we will take you to visit a local bee farm, where the lady of the house will prepare a traditional local food on fire in front of you. You will be shown around and presented with interesting facts and knowledge about beekeeping. No need to mention that you will try the best honey you ever tasted before in Dimovi-honey After the bee farm you will check in the hotel in Haskovo for the next two night.
You will have a few hours for yourself before dinner which will be the best combination of food, folklore and traditional atmosphere.
After breakfast on a short drive we will take you sightseeing, starting with phenomenon “Mushroom rock formations” and then… Perperikon or Perperik, which is an archaeological complex in the Eastern Rhodopes, consisting of a large megalith sanctuary of 8 000 years ago during the Stone Age, monuments of antiquity and a medieval fortress. In the Thracians period, Perperek is a sacred rock city, capital and fortress with a royal palace. Later, there lived Romans, Goths and Bulgarians. Here you will find out how old is the tradition of wine production on these lands, where just virgins were allowed to smash with their own feet the grape for wine. After this ancient complex we will take you to eat the traditional carp fish in restaurant directly placed in Lake Kardjali – famous with its fantastic views and food. Afternoon you will be back at the hotel and rest a bit before dinner. We are going to take you to another traditional Bulgarian restaurant, so you can continue exploring all the different dishes, tastes and for sure you will have to try the most traditional alcoholic Bulgarian drink Rakia. After your Tour in Bulgaria you will know all about Rakia.
Leaving sharp after breakfast, on your last day of the tour, going back to Sofia, we will make a few stops and make the day much more existing with a visit to one of the most famous Bulgarian monastery – Bachkovo and Asenova fortress. The fortress existed in the time of the Thracians, it was rebuilt from Byzantium in the 9th century to guard the door of the Belomorski Pass and to secure the Byzantine border in this region. They will tell you their stories and give you lots of knowledge about Bulgaria under the Ottoman rule.Lunch will be at the local restaurant in the surroundings of the monastery.
You will arrive in Sofia around 17.00-18.00
Your Tour Guide will say goodbye to you, however you will enjoy one more night in the capital.
The hotel will assist you with booking the taxi for you transfer to the airport next day.
